Scope and engagement
Every engagement should identify the service scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule and any material assumptions. Individual projects may require a separate signed agreement, and that agreement will control if it conflicts with this general page.
Responsibilities
The client supplies accurate information, readable materials, timely feedback and confirmation that they may use submitted content. EverGreen Literary provides the agreed professional services with reasonable care and communicates material issues affecting delivery.
Deliverables, revisions and timelines
Deliverables and included revision rounds are defined per engagement. Dates depend on timely receipt of materials, feedback and payments. Changes to scope may require revised fees and timing agreed before additional work begins.
Communication
Each project will use agreed contact channels. Clients should consolidate feedback where possible and identify decision-makers for collaborative projects.
Ownership and confidentiality
Clients retain ownership of their manuscripts and pre-existing intellectual property. Ownership and permitted use of commissioned deliverables are specified in the individual agreement. Manuscripts and confidential project information are handled for the engagement and are not publicly disclosed without permission, subject to legal obligations and essential service providers.
Fees, cancellation and completion
Fees and payment dates are confirmed before work begins. Paused or cancelled work may be invoiced for completed work, reserved time and committed costs. Completion, acceptance and file-retention arrangements are set out in the project terms.
